Trips With Eggs On Face

My recent trip to Nuweiba
obviously didn't lack an embarrassing situation. This time was when the other volunteers encouraged me to get into the water. I don't swim so all I was planning to do was to walk into the water up to my knees. Anyway, I asked where the bathroom was to change my clothes. One of them pointed to where it was. I went there, changed my clothes, and headed to the beach.

The second time was when I went to have a shower after finishing my beach walk. On the third time, while I was washing my hands, I heard a guy singing in the bathroom. I turned my head back to figure where the sound was coming from. Suddenly, the guy came out of the bathroom. Luckily, he was fully dressed. He looked at me in a very suspicious way and told me that the women's toilet was on the other side. I didn't know where to put myself and started apologizing repeatedly with a sheepish face. I couldn't believe that I had been in the men's bathroom all these times and had a shower in there!

I'm not sure if someone noticed me entering the men's bathroom during the three times but I really hope not. :( I don't know why I didn't see the sign of men on the front of the bathroom. Sometimes, this happens to me; I don't notice obvious details which could cause a big issue and embarrassing situations like this one.

Even my trip to Matrouh didn't go smoothly without having some embarrassment. At Lagoon Beach, I left my shoes on the shore away from the water. When we decided to leave, I went to put them on but I only found one single shoe and it was wet! We kept looking for the other one but we found nothing. Then, we had to leave. While walking away, I found a single slipper so I put it on. I was walking with a shoe on one foot and a male slipper on the other one.

Luckily, there was no one else but us due to it being Ramadan as well as because of the lockdown imposed by the government. Yeah, we managed to go to more than one beach despite the lockdown (no one was following the rules anyway but there were not many people around, mainly because of Ramadan). When we arrived at Lover Beach, I found another male slipper so I made use of it and left the shoe there.
On our way back to the hotel, I bought new (female) slippers (or summery sandals as they're called in English.
Hopefully, on my next trips, I won't have more eggs on my face.
