Wandering Off
I can't concentrate right now while writing. There is a mosquito biting me all over my legs. I paused and started ransacking the room, hoping I could find it. After a few failed rounds, I spread some mosquito repellent lotion.
Oh, no! It bit me again. What a clever mosquito! It looks for spaces on my body that don’t have the lotion. I moved to another room in an attempt to escape the mosquito raids on my body.
Now, it is time to have breakfast. It seems I’m looking for excuses to avoid doing my writing task. Never mind, I'm going to prepare a proper meal to sustain me throughout the long day. One of the disadvantages of being alone at home is that I feel too lazy to make a good meal. I end up nibbling sweet food or bread.
Hey, my Mind! Don’t wander off! I have to finish this task so I can take up another activity. I wish there was a button to switch off the random thoughts that invade my mind when I need to focus.
How does it sound now? Hope this does not sound baloney to the readers. Why don’t I do a favor for my readers and myself and write in my mother tongue? So they don’t have to read bland, boring text like this.
Okay, maybe this could be the subject of another writing task.
