A case In My Community

There was a famous case in the media years ago. A girl was sexually harassed by a guy. She told her story and posted the perpetrator's photo on her accounts on social media.

There is a popular program in the country, which was supposed to be a kind of charitable platform to help those in need. The interviewer, a female, hosted the victim. Instead of defending her or at least being professional and asking her about the details of the incident, she started to blame her for what she was wearing and asked her why she wasn't wearing a hijab. 

It's just an example of how deep these stereotypes are in people's mindsets. Not only men but also women who are supposed to stand by each other in such violent incidents.
